I am Nikos, a Security Engineer and graduate of the Department of Informatics at Athens University of Economics and Business.
After finishing school, it was time to figure out what path my career would take.
Curious about how these little machines produce so much work that everyone now depends on them,
I followed the path of computer science and never looked back. It's been an amazing ride, and I learn something
new every day. My hunger for exploring every corner of this field might be why I'm still not entirely sure what
to focus on. These days, security and cloud engineering suit me best, but who knows what the future holds.

Currently a Security Engineer at Skroutz (since Apr 2023), working on DevSecOps, cloud security (AWS SecurityHub/GuardDuty, Terraform), SIEM monitoring and Bug Bounty triage.
Before that: Junior DevOps Engineer at ITML, and IT Support/System Administrator at the Hellenic National Defence General Staff.

My thesis, "Mitigation Techniques for Prompt Injection Attacks", proposes an encryption-based defense against LLM prompt injection.
